Prepared Childbirth

A six (6) week series of classes incorporating a variety of methods of prepared childbirth. The emotional and physiological aspects of late pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum are the focus. CEA advocates a consumer oriented approach to childbirth. Class is from 7:00-9:00pm and is located at the State College Friends School.

Instruction includes:

Special breathing techniques
Relaxation exercises
Medications
Birth alternatives and options
Role of the support person

Class Fee: $125 (Register anytime during your 5th month)
